Last Day of School
She had a awards assembly today. She goes to a private Christian school and every month they have a monthly scripture for them to learn. It is normally a four or five verses, depending on the length. It is voluntary. Allison recited all nine so she was honored at today's assembly. I'm very proud because as a kindergartener it was a big deal. Four other kids from her class did it as well.
After the school assembly she had her small class assembly. She got an award for completing all the Pizza Hut Book-it forms along with a classroom award that her teacher gives to all the students. It is a reward for completing kindergarten. It also has a character trait listed. The teacher selects the character trait that she sees the most in that child. Allison's was joyfulness. On the back she has a definition of joyfulness as this: The spontaneous enthusiasm of my spirit when my soul is in fellowship with the Lord. That is Psalm 16:11.
Here are some pictures during her awards.
The first is of her and her other classmates who said all of their monthly scriptures. Didn't they do great.

I'm just getting caught up on your blog. Allison looks like she is going to be the smartest and nicest girl in the first grade next year. Grandma and Grandpa Coile wish we could have been at your graduation. All our love, Grandma and Grandpa Coile
